Discover the Albariño La Ola

Eladio Piñeiro winery in Galicia has created the white wine Albariño La Ola, a broth that 100% represents the work philosophy of Eladio Piñeiro. It is a special wine not only for its content, but also for its bottle. Like the rest of Piñeiro wines, La Ola has a bottle with a unique design, in this case because of its intense blue color. The label pays tribute through an image of Neptune to the first bottle of blue wine on the Spanish market, which was created by Eladio Piñeiro in 1991. The stopper is made with sugar cane.

La Ola is a dry white wine made 100% with grapes of the Albariño variety grown in vineyards located in the Salnés Valley (Galicia), in the heart of the Rías Baixas. The type of viticulture that has been followed for more than a decade is biodynamics. The grapes are harvested manually, and after the selection of the best bunches, they are macerated in the winery. After fermentation, a selection of the vintage’s Tête de Cuvée is made (top of the vats with the highest fruit load). This wine has aged on its own lees during 6 months.

Nuances of the Wave (La Ola)

To the eye, it appears as a straw yellow wine, clean, bright and with abundant tears. Its aromas of white fruits and citrus are perfectly intermingled with mineral nuances and aromatic herbs. Once in the mouth, La Ola is a fresh, well-structured broth with a long and persistent finish.
