Winemaking

Created from the king varietal of the Rioja appellation, Tempranillo is the most elegant, delicate and sophisticate grape. Those grapes came from our oldest tempranillo vineyard on the worst condition of dryness land. Our really old vines can develop just a small number of great bunches, of a really reach and concentrate treasure inside.

Handpicked harvest is in small boxes to preserve the fruit and preventing damages during transport, are the previous steps of entering into the winery. A very delicate destem, to separate the berries from the green parts follow of a cold shoak in tank, with a very slow and cold fermentation, give to the wines a great fruity character. For finishing the aging if this wine we sent this wine into French oak barrels for 10 months. This creates a wine soft balanced and in harmony.

This wine is the result of the fully dedicated dream of the winemaker and in each step of the process to get expression in all bottles.

Tasting Note

COLOUR: Intense and deep cherry colour with a bright purple hue.

NOSE: Intense and attractive with fresh wild berries combined with lightly oaked aromas, in balance with the delicate notes of spices that come from the barrel aging

PALATE: silky and soft at the start. Round in the mouth with well-structured and soft tannins. Showcasing the perfect integration between both grape varieties. Highlighting the balanced acidity and intensity of flavour, with a long taste.

Pairing

Ideal to combine with grilled red meat, or wild game stew. Pair perfect with a cheese board. Our suggestion is flame grilled ribeye with roast peppers.

Winemaking

Starting with the most rigorous organic farming to be the foundation of this artwork result of the hard work in our oldest vineyards of Graciano. We obtain just a small crop of this great grapes.

Handpicked harvest in the optimal ripeness point. The recollection is in small boxes to preserve the fruit. A delicate process of crushing, and a very slow, cold and control fermentation. Develops a unique wine, very special, great valance and complex.

After fermentation the wine is aged in oak barrels for 10 months to give this wine balance and softness not often found in this varietal. As result of this elaboration we get a soft full wine with the ability to age for great length of time.

This wine is the result of the fully dedicated dream of the winemaker and in each step of the process to get expression in all bottles, a delicate wine with balsamic notes.

Tasting Note

VISUAL: deep colour, picota cherry colour with violet- blue shines.

NOSE: Intense and attractive spice with wild berries notes, in balance with blackberries and blueberries, complemented with delicate toasted cedary and almond notes due to the barrel aging

PALATE: convincing, powerful and approachable. Mouth filling with lush fruit and soft silky tannins. It highlights the freshness and bright acidity characteristic of this varietal that is so well adapted to our region.

Pairing

Ideal to combine with whatever roast fatty meat, flavorsome hearty stews , goat and sheep cured cheeses.

Winemaking

Created from the best adapted grape varietal in our poor and dry field, and climate conditions in our region. With more of 70 years old our vines suffer all the weather conditions, learning year after year how to bring an exceptional quality grapes every harvest.

Handpicked in small boxes to preserve the fruit, at the optimal ripeness point, been the last grapes to came in our facility, dose delicate grapes are destem and cold soak, the alcoholic fermentation runs slow and cold this is carried out by the natural yeast. A post fermentation skin contact helps the wine to ripen and soften the edges, it has had extended skin contact for 60 days.

For finishing the aging if this wine we sent this wine into French oak barrels for 10 months. This creates a wine soft balanced and in harmony.

This wine is the result of the fully dedicated dream of the winemaker and in each step of the process to get expression in all bottles, a delicate wine with Atlantic influences and delicate notes.

Tasting Note

VISUAL: deep colour, picota cherry colour with purple shines.

NOSE: Intense and attractive spice with mineral notes, with a Mediterranean profile, in combination with many types of red fresh berries. Completing the complexity with lightly toast notes because of its barrel agingPALATE: Silky and gentle entry. Round mouth feeling with soft and friendly tannins. It highlights the elegance and freshness that is characteristic of this vintage in our region, Balanced acidity and sweet notes typical of this Grenache varietal.

PARING: Ideal to combine with whatever roast meat or fish. Perfect paring with vine stem roast sardine (typical Spanish) or a good barbecue with friends. Our daring suggestion is pairing with grilled seafood.
