Elaboration of the Artisan Vermouth Carcheleto

We present to you the Craft Vermouth Carcheleto made by the Bodegas Carchelo. It is a 15% alcoholic strength vermouth that has been made from a selection of Verdejo white wines from the winery, along with 36 flowers, aromatic plants and roots that provide the aromatic touch so characteristic of this type of drinks.

In order to extract all the possible aromas, an individual maceration and infusion of each of the plants and flowers is carried out, to later pass to the heading of the wine and its aging in French oak barrels of 225 liters for 6 months. At this time, the cane sugar caramel is also added, which adds texture, color and body to the vermouth.

All this results in a limited edition 1 liter bottles of vermouth.

Tasting notes of the Carcheleto Vermouth

The special design of the bottle highlights the mahogany colors and amber reflections of this vermouth. On the nose there is an explosion of aromas thanks to the mixture of plants, flowers and roots. In the mouth the balance is perfect, a touch of bitterness, makes it an elegant and complete vermouth.

To fully appreciate these notes, the ideal is to serve it at a temperature of between 15 and 16ºC, accompanied by a slice of citrus and some good cold snacks such as olives or preserves.
