Tasting Notes

Color: Very lively wine covered with garnet notes and Indian ink.

Aroma: Its subtlety and elegance are impressive, everything is delicacy and complexity. Ripe fruit and floral notes blend with delicate characters acquired both by aging and by malolactic fermentation in barrels. Along with the spices, it has acquired creamy and balsamic notes. A wine to enjoy smelling it and appreciating its evolution in the glass.

Mouth: It is the concentration of elegance. Ripe fruit tannins that still retain refreshing characters, and a wood that seems to increase the potency of its fruit. The aging potential is enormous and it will be a pleasure to enjoy it after 15 years or more.

Great combination with red meat, game meat, duck, rabbit, etc.

Underwater Wine Vinamaris Selected

Monastrell, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah

Winemaking

The first alcoholic fermentation is done in stainless steel. The second malolactic fermentation is done in barrels.

Ageing

For 16 months the wine remains in new French oak barrels of medium and medium high toast. Then there is a long bottle aging process of 24 months minimum.

Underwater ageing

After vinification in the winery, the wine is bottled and submerged at a depth of 40 meters. Underwater aging lasts 12 months, then another 12 months bottles rest in the cellar.

Tasting notes

Very vivid color of garnet notes. Aromas of ripe fruit due to malolactic fermentation and long aging in French oak barrels. The underwater aging has polished tannins and has made the wine mature and balanced maintaining its freshness.
