Eya Rosé 2021 Monastrell Organic Vegan

Production of Eya Rosé wine

For the elaboration of the Eya Rosé wine (13% vol/lac), the Carchelo Wineries use grapes from their own vineyards located in the Sierra del Carche that are around 30 years old and that grow on clay soils, sandy loam and with limestone cover. For the creation of this dry rosé, a single variety is used, the Monastrell, one of the most used grapes for the production of rosé wines.

These grapes are collected manually in 250kg boxes to go to the winery, where the maceration processes, bleeding of the must in flower, clarification and alcoholic fermentation are carried out, all in stainless steel tanks. It is a young rosé wine from the DO Jumilla that does not have aging.

Eya Rosado is a vegan-friendly wine suitable, since thanks to the methods of cultivation an elaboration of the grapes and the broth, respectively, it has the Vegan and Organic Certificates.

In order to appreciate all the properties and tasting notes of Eya Rosado, it is best to preserve it and serve it at a temperature of 8 / 10ºC.

This is a rosé that has a paler tone than other rosé wines; this is due to the short maceration time of the must with the grape skins (2/3 hours). Its aromas of citrus, white flowers and fruits (pear, strawberries, apricots and currants) permeate the nose, leaving a very pleasant feeling of freshness. Once in the mouth, you can perfectly notice its balance between acidity and sweetness, which denotes a unique character that makes Eya Rosé a broth that everyone who tastes it will fall in love with.

The perfect pairing for Rosé Eya is rice dishes, salads, seafood and grilled fish.
