Characteristics of the wine FBD

This red wine of the Tempranillo variety is aged for 28 months in French oak barrels, and another 36 months of rest in the bottle. These bottles belong to the 2007 vintage, where a manual harvest was carried out of the best grapes from the Fuentelcésped finca, in the Ribera del Duero D.O., some limestone clay soil vines that are more than 100 years old. The elaboration of the FDB wine was carried out with 100% destemmed grapes with fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes

To the eye, the FBD has a deep cherry color with violet highlights. On the nose, it reminds of red fruits and plums, with a touch of aromatic spices such as thyme and rosemary. It is deep, complex and elegant. Finally, in the mouth it has a powerful presence and a succulent entrance in the mouth with a long finish. Elegant and with presence. Amazing capacity for evolution.
