Tasting Note

The differences of the submerged wine with the terrestrial are remarkable. More vivid, fruity and fresh colors.
The overall sensation is of greater varietal and tannic integration, making it more pleasant and tasty.

Enormous concentration, complexity and elegance.
Fresh and intense aromas: raspberry, currant, cherry, well integrated with a touch of violet and lavender flowers, with a gentle touch of spices and eucalyptus.
The aromatic experience continues, the sensation in the mouth is silky and vibrant.

Underwater Winery

In the Council of Ribadedeva, in the waters of the Marine Conservation Area Red Natura 2000, under the lighthouse of San Emeterio, the orography of the Picos de Europa is transferred to the seabed creating exceptional rock labyrinths that house underwater winery.

Underwater wines age in a unique environment, guarded by the dark and living mystery of the underwater universe. The silence, the temperature, the depth and the movement of the sea make tasting these wines an unforgettable experience.

Winemaking

During the harvest, the vineyard is selected that provides the fruit with more structure for aging 20 months in French oak barrels. In bottling, the filtration is very light, respecting the maximum amount of natural matter. This same vintage has obtained a wine on land with 92 Parker points.

Bottles are handcrafted sealed with a synthetic seal designed to withstand seawater and pressure.

After identifying the bottles by hand engraving, they are transferred to the underwater winery where they age for 12 months, achieving a different and exclusive product.

Aged 20 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the Cantabrian Sea.
