Winemaking

Maceration for 14 days. Spontaneous fermentation in 15.000 kg concrete tanks.malolactic fermentation takes place in these same tanks. Wine without ltering and non-aggressive clarification.

Ageing

14 months in French and Eastern oak barrels of second use.

Alcohol

14.5% Vol.

Tasting Note

Visual: ruby red.
Nose: intense aroma of chocolate black fruits and vanilla.
Palate: silky and round, very unctuous with light shades of glycerin. Memories of fruits and mineral notes.

Origin

Matsu, which in Japanese means waiting, is a tribute to all the winegrowers who, for generations, have worked the vineyard dedicating their effort, wisdom, respect and sacrifice. The D. O. Toro has a dry climate, extreme temperatures and centuries-old vines that are cared for by traditional methods following the Times marked by nature. The wines retain the power of the denomination by combining it with an enveloping softness. The three generations of the Royal winegrowers who illustrate each bottle represent their relationship with the land, proper to their age and their vital stage.
