The European regulation allows the removal of the mention “Contains Sulfites” for this wine elaborated without added sulphur. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) allows the certification “ ORGANIC WINE”.
Sauló (sandy granitic). Altitude 150m – 300m. Orientation Southeast. Rainfall 600 mm/year.
Sight – Cherry colour.
Nose – Good aromatic intensit y which highlights flavours of fruit (blackberry) and liquorice with subtle notes of we ll integrated ageing in oak.
Palate – Its acidit ymakes it a fresh wine. Smooth and persistent tannins that gives a pleasant and persistent taste on the palate.
Organic red wine made with a part of grapes without any treatment in the vineyard. After maceration -fermentation for 20 days at 25°C in wood vats, the grapes are lightly pressed and put in barrels where the malolactic fermentation takes place. After 3 months of ageing in barrel, it will be bottled. No sulphites or any other products are added throughout the process.
