Orange Spritz?

The Antelo-Mencheta family has been growing citrus fruits in Valencia for 5 generations. Having so much experience the new generation Tarongino is embarking on a very daring journey and they have produced the first spritz made of oranges, 100% orange juice, grape must and a light touch of bubbles. And in this case it is not any kind of orange, but a symbol of Valencian tradition and rural culture the orange is called Taronja.

If you see a little natural sediment in the wine, don’t be surprised because this orange spritz is made without any aggressive treatment in the clarification and stabilization process, it is natural. It is a spritz of alcohol content of 6.5%, of Total Acidity (Citric Acid) 7.5 gr./l. and pH: 3.7 and that evolves well in the bottle for a long time. It is better to keep it in a cool place and avoid the sun’s rays, as in any wine and consume it cold, but very cold at 5⁰ C.

Tasting and Pairing of the Orange Spritz

Tarongino Orange Spritz is a refreshing new cocktail made with Tarongino orange wine. It also contains grape must and different spices that give it a very special flavor. Orange Spritz has an amber color with light golden reflections, on the nose it is an explosion of citrus aromas as it could not be otherwise. It goes perfectly with desserts based on pure chocolate, with snacks and light meals. Orange spritz also allows us to make splendid cocktails and be used in our combinations thanks to the great properties offered by oranges.
