Why choose Sangarida Pico Tuerto wine?

This broth that has the D.O. Bierzo is made entirely with grapes of the Mencia variety, red grapes that come from 4 old vines of the early twentieth century, which brings incomparable nuances to this wine. This is a red wine aged in French oak barrels of 500 liters for 12 months, both new and semi-new.

The plots of the vineyards are located at more than 600 meters of altitude, in the town of San Lorenzo del Bierzo, and they follow a viticulture of ecological philosophy and respectful of the raw material and its cultivation times. The fermentation of wine is natural, no sulfites are added.

A pleasure for all the senses

The intense purple color of the broth manages to catch you from the first glance. The depth of this is mixed with the aromas of red and black fruits, with hints of spices and mineral nuances. In the mouth it has a velvety and elegant tannic structure, which makes it a complex broth with a very good balance and persistence.
