La Bodega del Mar creates the fascinating limited edition underwater wine Sea of Anemones DOCa Priorat made with manually harvested grapes Grenache, Carignan and Syrah from centuries-old vineyards. Anemones are incredible creatures as if they were from fantasy books that live on the seabed. Its appearance is reminiscent of sea flowers with brightly colored tentacles. The underwater treasure Sea of Anemones has aged 8 months old in French oak barrel and has been submerged 20 meters below the surface for about 6 months. The pressure, the absence of light, the constant temperatures, the permanent micro-vibrations produced by the currents all this makes the underwater wine evolve under the sea 3 or 4 times faster creating a more complex wine with softer tannins and more intense fruity aromas. It is an underwater wine with vibrant red fruits with soft toasted and balsamic flavors.
