What is the Semi-sweet White Platé Banana Wine?

Platé winery has produced some of the most special fruit wines on the Spanish wine market. These are their banana wines, among which we find this Fruity Semi-sweet White Banana Wine, the Semi-dry Platé Banana Wine or the Banana and Passion Fruit Frizzante.

These wines were created by following the traditional methods of making grape wines, starting with a manual selection of the best bananas from the Canary Islands. After that, the alcoholic fermentation of these fruits is carried out to obtain an authentic banana wine without artificial colors or flavors.

Tasting notes of the Fruity Semi-sweet Banana White Wine

This banana wine is classified as a white wine due to its color, which has bright yellow tones very similar to white grape wines. Its aromas are essentially tropical, with notes that not only remind us of banana, but also of other fruits such as pineapple or passion fruit; but we can also distinguish other nuances of fruits such as apple, or bakery products. In the mouth all these aromas are noticeable with very marked tropical flavors, which give it a perfect sweetness and that does not become cloying.

Being such a light and fresh wine, it is perfect to accompany sushi dishes, cold appetizers, fish rice dishes, salads and even desserts.
