Winemaking Of Vega Vella Tinto

The Vega Vella Red wine, from Bodegas Cornelio Dinastía, is a coupage blend between Tempranillo, Grenache and Graciano.

The vineyards are located in La Rioja, in a soil of silts and clays, with plasters and loams and alluvial boulders, in fields of low production and cultivated in organic agriculture for more than 3 decades, treating the vineyards with natural products. Located at an altitude of 400 to 500 meters, with a continental Mediterranean climate and an average rainfall of 400 liters per square meter.

The elaboration of Vega Vella Red is carried out in a traditional way reducing to the maximum the presence of sulfur dioxide, resulting in a natural wine that respects the environment, which gives rise to a fresh, aromatic wine, a little carbonated from the maceration itself, which gives us aroma, mild freshness, velvety flavor and produce endless ethereal sensations to relax our spirit and soul.

The alcoholic strength of Vega Vella Tinto is 14.5% Vol.

Tasting Notes Of Vega Vella Red Wine

Vega Vella Tinto offers an intense layer of cherry red with violet tones, clean and bright. On the nose there is a great presence of red fruit, currants, blueberries and raspberries, and also spicy notes and herbaceous touches. On the other hand, in the mouth, the presence of red fruit stands out, in balance with a good acidity and freshness, as well as the presence of vegetable notes and a soft, well-assembled drying tannin.

You can enjoy a perfect pairing of Vega Vella Tinto with grilled meats, white meats, cooking dishes, sausages and fatty fish. Rioja potatoes and game birds or poultry.
