65% Viura. From old vines, more than 28 years , located in La Rioja Alta, with calcareous clay soils and altitudes between 450 and 500 m with Atlantic microclimates influence. The productivity was about 5,000 kg/Ha.
15% Malvasia. From very old vines, more than 63 years, located in La Rioja Baja with very poor and rocky soils and a Mediterranean microclimate influence. Its production was only 3,000 Kgr./Ha.
11% Maturana Blanca from a organically grown vineyard located in Hormilla (La Rioja Alta). Altitude of 630 m. North orientation. Atlantic microclimate.
9% White Tempranillo come from young vineyard located in La Rioja Alta, with an Atlantic microclimate influence and a controlled production of 5,000 kg/Ha.
Cold maceration during 48 hours.
Exclusively the free run juice is initially fermented at a controlled temperature.
The final alcoholic fermentation occurs in French (70%) and American (30%) new oak barrels, with light wood toasted.
Aged with its lees for 18 months in the same oak barrels
Aging was completed with a minimum stay of 6 months in bottle.
Production limited to 23 barrels.
Clear and brilliant. Golden yellow color with metallic brightness and greenish hints.
Stream of Clean, fragrant and intense aromas of citrus fruits, pineapple, quince and smoky hints assembled with aromas cinnamon and vanilla.
Fresh and pleasant entry into the mouth with good fullness and volume. Creamy, bulky, with good acidity, scented aftertaste of honey and citrus notes. Long & persistent.
Alcohol: 13.64%, Sugar Reducing: 1.2 gr/l., Total Acidity: 5,80 g/l (Ac. Tartaric), Sugar Reducing: 1.2 gr/l., Recommended Temperature: 10-12ºC.
