Alta Alella Mirgin is a family winery located in the Serralada de Marina Natural Park (Barcelona). It specializes in the creation of organic wines, being one of the most recognized companies in Spain in this sector.

With an experience of more than 40 years in the sector, the Family Winery Alta Alella Mirgin specializes in the production of organic wines and organic sparkling wines (cavas) in the province of Barcelona, the most developed area of Spanish organic viticulture.
The winery and its surroundings are located in the Serralada de Marina Natural Park, just two kilometers from the coast. This is a place that stands out for its great biodiversity, for its privileged lands and for its strong influence of the Mediterranean climate, factors that play an important role in the quality of the grape varieties that are grown there.
The winery's 17 hectares of vineyards are located on sandy soils with granite origin and low organic matter, conditions that make the cultivation of the most traditional varieties of the Alella Designation of Origin ideal: Monastrell and Pansa Blanca (Xarel·lo).
Alta Alella Mirgin works with the intention of improving every day its techniques to produce more pure and healthy wines, always taking into account their quality.
To make this happen, working methods based on organic farming are followed, using only organic fertilizers and avoiding all kinds of fertilizers or other chemicals. It is also ensured that there is a minimum intervention in the vineyards, in order to preserve all the properties of the grapes.
Bodega (winery) Alta Alella Mirgin divides its elaborations according to its denomination of origin.
On the one hand, there are organic wines with D.O. Alella, among which there are Vinos de Tierra, faithful reflection of the terroir of the Serralada de Marina Natural Park; and Vinos de Mar, a representation of the characteristic climate of the Mediterranean Sea.
On the other hand, there are organic sparkling wines with D.O. Cava. Alta Alella Mirgin stands out for being a pioneer winery in this type of elaboration of organic cavas (sparkling wines). Within this denomination we also find two collections: the Gran Reserva Cavas, and the exclusive Qualified Location Cavas (Cavas de Paraje Calificado).
