Tarongino is a special wine made from 100% Valencian oranges. It is a craft drink that represents the essence of the culture and tradition of the Valencian Community.

In 2013, the Valencian company Naranjas Ché decided to bet on a unique project, and also something risky, that until that moment had not been seen. The goal was the creation of a new wine that fully reflects the essence of the land of Valencia, to achieve which Tarongino was elaborated, a wine made 100% with Valencian oranges but not grapes.
Traditionally, the orange company Ché (located in Sagunto, Valencia) has been dedicated to the organic cultivation of Valencian oranges and tangerines. In addition, over time they have also included in their product portfolio other citrus fruits such as grapefruit or lemon.
The entrepreneurial spirit is something that has characterized the company during its 5 generations of history, and that was what prompted them to create the Tarongino orange wine. For this they had the collaboration of the winemaker Juan Alberto Anaya, who is in charge of supervising each process of elaboration of Tarongino to ensure the quality of the product.
This particular orange wine is created by hand in the facilities of the family business, and its elaboration process is not far from that of any other wine made with grapes. The collection of the fruits in the family's own fields is done manually, taking the utmost care and respect for preserving their properties.
With these oranges and clementines a juice is prepared that stands out for its sweetness and its little acidity, and which is left to ferment for at least two months to acquire its alcoholic strength.
After macerating the broth with the orange and/or mandarin peels, it is filtered until the desired appearance. A fine, semi-transparent wine that is bottled and ready for sale under the name Tarongino.
Just as grape wines represent the characteristics of the terroir where their grapes have been grown, Tarongino orange wine perfectly reflects the properties of the Mediterranean: freshness, elegance and authenticity.
In addition to Orange and Clementine wine, Tarongino also presents Grapefruit wine and Sanguina wine, which are made during the season of these fruits.
